Dr. Hisham Ababneh is the
Managing Partner of Ababneh Law & Arbitration (ALA), bringing around 15
years of experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, and arbitration law.
Prior to establishing ALA, he worked with leading international law firms,
including Dentons and Eversheds Sutherland, where he gained extensive expertise
advising multinational corporations and government entities on complex legal
matters.
Dr. Ababneh is recognized for his
role in shaping corporate legislation in Jordan. He served as an external legal
expert to the Minister of Industry and Trade, advising on amendments to the
Jordanian Companies Law related to Investment Funds. He has also taught
Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and International Arbitration at the University
of Petra and Amman Private University.
In addition to his role at ALA,
Dr. Ababneh was appointed as Of Counsel at Dentons, handling select
high-profile and confidential matters. His expertise is frequently sought by
leading international organizations, including the World Bank and the
International Monetary Fund (IMF), for consultations on corporate governance,
investment protection, and regulatory frameworks in Jordan and the MENA region.
Dr. Ababneh is a member of the
